Dubai, Metro – Logistics Base

Overview A driverless, fully automated metro network in Dubai, UAE built at an estimated cost of USD 4.2 billion. Project started in March 2006 and when completed by end of 2010, Dubai Metro will have 70 KM of lines, and 47 stations (including nine underground stations). The first phase has been open to public since Sep 9th 2009
Our role Logistics partner for JT Metro (the Dubai Rail Link Consortium) for managing a 45,000 M2 logistics base with our own infrastructure, staff and expertise. Principal activities include customs clearance, storage and delivery to multiple construction sites “ just in time ” 24/7 through out the duration of the four year project
Figures An average 150 x 40’ inbound containers/month (reaching a high of 300 containers/month during the peak), about 15 deliveries a day , Estimated 150,000 CBM of cargo handled per annum
